It is with great sadness that we announce that Jamil Naqsh, the revered South Asian Master, passed away today at St. Mary's Hospital in London after a short and sudden illness.

After painting for over six decades, Jamil Naqsh finally puts his brush down and leaves his palette with all the colours he knew.
After creating innumerous masterpieces in this world, he returns back to his Creator and leaves behind an illustrious career in the field of Fine Arts by redefining abstract, still-life, calligraphy and many other genres.
He shall not only be remembered by his Family alone, but also goes down in history as a relentless painter who opted for reclusiveness to focus on his work over the other joys of life.
We cannot thank him enough for having reintroduced Fine Arts to this world and leaving a visual saga for us all to cherish for the rest of our lives.
